A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting with Dave Brown. He’s the President of Nuvo Solutions Inc., headquartered in Clayton, North Carolina, southeast of Raleigh.
Dave founded Nuvo with CEO Emily French in 2016. Dave had been in the mobility channel for over 20 years and, along with Emily, saw a need to support SMB and enterprises in more reliable ways than had become the industry norm.
The Nuvo team is always on the lookout for similar-minded businesses that believe in integrity, reliability, and consistency – who share their values. Over the next few years, as Nuvo trialed various channel routes, they had already heard of ConectUS from business customers and competitors. Said David, “Being in the channel for that long, ConectUS was a name that had popped up a few times.”
I asked Dave if there were any particular attributes that differentiated ConectUS from other potential partners. He told me that while considering teaming up with ConectUS, he did make sure to speak with other potential partners. However, Dave told me that he was impressed by what he found out when researching ConectUS: “It was very important to me that the organization that we partnered with matched our core values, our core systems, the way that we thought about raising (the performance of) an organization, what we wanted to try to accomplish – not only for our customers but internally.”
Dave told me that ConectUS has always had a great reputation, and “I felt that John (Scully) and his team… were the type of people that we could build a better and more successful relationship with.”
I then asked Dave to tell us why Nuvo continues to stay with ConectUS. Dave gave us several great reasons for maintaining the relationship. However, the one that surprised me – pleasantly – was that ConectUS knows how to navigate large corporations “like Verizon” to improve communication and transparency. In Dave’s words, “It actually creates a level of confidence, and then, of course, that leads to trust.”
Dave then shared examples of how ConectUS has assisted Nuvo in closing business.
If you are in the telecoms and technology channel selling mobility or above the network solutions to SMBs or enterprise companies, you’ll find Dave’s insight valuable; and at under ten minutes, it’s an easy video to watch in full.
