Notes: | 1. 5G Business Internet is available in parts of select cities within the existing 5G Ultra Wideband footprint (that are not within a FIOS city). See Eligibility tab. 2. 5G Business Internet is an ‘up to’ bandwidth service. As with all fixed wireless access products, the bandwidth is asymmetrical. 3. During the installation process, the Verizon technician will assess and benchmark connection speeds on site and, if necessary, recommend adjustments to the contracted speed tier. 4. The maximum bandwidth allowed matches the speed tier selected for your service (e.g. 400 Mbps).
5. Customers may change their plan at any time (e.g. upgrade or downgrade a speed tier). Plans will be automatically prorated for any month’s applicable service fee. 6. Account Recovery – In recovery situations, a 300 Mbps speed tier can be offered to maintain customers. Contact BGCO for assistance on the account. | ||
Speed Tier changes: | Upon completion of the customer changing Speed Tier, Verizon will need to adjust billing charges to reflect the change in Speed Tier. Charges will be calculated using pro-rating (e.g. number of days within billing cycle per each Speed Tier). Billing will list each Speed Tier charge within the billing cycle separately. Each Speed Tier pro-rated changes will be reflected as a line item with Speed Tier description and dates of usage. Billing will also reflect any associated regulatory, Verizon administration, and tax charges to be applied and presented within the Surcharge; applicable taxes, Government Surcharges, and Fees section. In cases where Speed Tier change occurred within a Billing Cycle; the Bill will list the original Speed Tier and new Speed Tier with their associated pro-rated charges. Next Bill cycle will contain only the Speed Tier being used. |
